The successful project completion in cooperation with Rosnefteflot JSC

- Task: AKRUS® products supply for «RN Tuapse» vessel dock repair
The tanker RN Tuapse was constructed at the JSC Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard in Nizhny Novgorod in April 2011. The tanker has a length overall (LOA) of 141 metres, a beam of 17 metres, and a total tonnage of approximately 7,000 tons. It fulfils all the technical requirements for maritime safety and reliability of oil tankers and complies with the relevant international conventions in the field of shipping. The commissioning of the next tanker enabled JSC Rosneft to reinforce its position in the bunker market, boost the volume of marine fuel sales in the Black Sea region, and expand its geographical reach.
The RN Tuapse became the fifth bunkering tanker to be jointly commissioned by Rosnefteflot JSC and RN—Bunker LLC to implement the Rosneft project to develop the bunkering business.
The vessel is based in port Tuapse
In July 2016, the repair of the tanker "RN Tuapse" was completed in Varna, Bulgaria. During the repair process, AKRUS® coatings were applied, and a technical inspection was conducted. The feedback regarding the coatings and the service provided is positive.
The following AKRUS® coatings were utilised during "RN Tuapse" tanker dock painting in May-June 2016 at Hellenika LLC, Port of Varna, Bulgaria: an anticorrosive epoxy coating (AKRUS® Epoks C), (AKRUS® Epoks C winter version), and an antifouling coating (AKRUS® 042M).
