Technical modernization. Oil distribution operation facilities «Cherkassy»

Cherkassy pipeline operations station constitutes Transneft Ural JSC subdivision of the oil pipeline management . Station currently includes two oil pump stations: Cherkassy-1 and Cherkasy-2. The Cherkassy-1 oil pump station, equipped with six tanks, receives oil through the TON-1 and TON-2 pipelines for further transportation of hydrocarbons to JSC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat and Cherkasy-2 oil receiving facilities
The Cherkassy linear section is situated between the Belaya and Ufa rivers, with a total pipeline length of 140 km in a single-line configuration. This section simultaneously receives petroleum products from Ufa refineries operated by ANK Bashneft and Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat, as well as from the Perm, Omsk, and Antipinsky refineries. These products are transported through six main oil pipelines. The station also serves as the starting point for the Ufa-West main oil product pipeline.
In December 2018, Transneft Ural JSC completed technical re-equipment of four tanks at the Cherkassy-PP pipeline operations station, part of the Cherkassy Oil Pipeline Operations center
The old tanks, originally commissioned in 1967, along with their foundations, were dismantled. In their place, four new vertical steel tanks with pontoons, each with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters (RVSP-10000 No. 25-28), were installed. The total weight of the metal structures used was 926.6 tons.
The technical refurbishment of four fixed-roof tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 m? was completed using AKRUS® brand anti-corrosion coatings.
In order to prevent corrosion on the inner surface of the tank, AKRUS® Praym - 200 mkm and AKRUS® Long 200 mkm, coating systems were employed.
