Supply of materials for the oil refineries and the TANECO petrochemical plant

- Task: Supply of coatings of the company AKRUS® for the construction of the Complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants «TANECO»
JSC TATNEFT is one of the largest Russian oil companies. One of the most important projects of the Company is the construction of a Complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants, «TANECO» in Nizhnekamsk (a complex of oil refineries and a Petrochemical plant).
TANECO has become the first large-scale investment and protective facility built from scratch in the entire post-Soviet space in the last 30 years.
The project is being implemented in a combined format, equipment supplies, and construction stages. In December 2017, the 50-millionth ton of oil was processed at the TANECO Complex. Today, TANECO produces highly competitive, environmentally friendly products, including Euro-5 diesel fuel, aviation kerosene of RT, TS-1, and Jet A-1 brands, and high index base oils of groups II and III.
The construction of a complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk is being implemented by JSC Tatneft under the main provisions of the Energy Strategy of Russia and the General Scheme for the Development of the oil industry until 2020.
During the construction work, the following coatings of the AKRUS® trademark were used:
- Hull— anticorrosive system with the use of antifouling coating AKRUS® 042M, approved by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping;
- The zone of the belt of waterlines — with the use of the ice-resistant coating AKRUS® Strong, approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping for icebreakers and vessels of the ice class ARC4 and above;
- Freeboard and hull surfaces above the waterline — anti-corrosion system with polyurethane finish coating AKRUS® Poliur, which has high flexibility and color fastness, is not subject to chalking under the impact of solar radiation and ultraviolet radiation, the temperature is stable.;
- Ballast tanks — a certified Russian Maritime Register of Shipping coating system was used AKRUS® Praym and AKRUS® Long — protection up to 15 years;
- Dredging equipment and holds — a thick-layer scheme of two layers of universal abrasive-resistant epoxy was used — AKRUS® Epoks С;
