JSC TATNEFT is one of the largest oil companies in Russia. One of its most significant projects is the construction of the TANECO Complex in Nizhnekamsk, which includes a series of oil refineries and petrochemical plants. This project marks the first large-scale investment and industrial facility built from scratch in the post-Soviet space in the last 30 years.
The TANECO project is being executed in a combined format, involving equipment supply and construction stages. By December 2017, the TANECO Complex had processed its 50-millionth ton of oil. Today, TANECO produces highly competitive, environmentally friendly products, including Euro-5 diesel fuel, aviation kerosene of RT, TS-1, and Jet A-1 brands, and high-index base oils of groups II and III.
The construction of the TANECO Complex in Nizhnekamsk is being carried out by JSC Tatneft in line with the main provisions of Russia's Energy Strategy and the General Scheme for the Development of the Oil Industry until 2020.
Since 2014, AKRUS® has been partnering with PJSC TATNEFT and JSC TANECO. In the construction of the TANECO Complex, AKRUS® anticorrosive and fire-resistant coatings were employed to protect metal structures. These systems included the AKRUS® Epoxy S primer enamel, the AKRUS® Poliur finish enamel, the AKRUS® Terma heat-resistant coating, and the AKRUS® Prime + AKRUS® Long anticorrosive coatings for the internal surfaces of tanks.
For fire protection, the coatings used were AKRUS® R(GR) for weather resistance, AKRUS® R for indoor and sheltered environments, AKRUS® TM for structural fire protection, and AKRUS® Vent for ventilation systems. These coatings provided anticorrosive and fire protection for over 15,000 tons of metal structures.

Their products are widely used in industrial construction, the metallurgical industry, structures in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors, as well as in shipbuilding and ship repair.
