New AKRUS® packaging
AKRUS® changed the design of AKRUS® brand coating system containers in July 2018. The principal objective of the redesign is to enhance the visibility of the products and highlight key coatings benefits.
The base of the container is designed with a background pattern in the form of pictograms to serve as a visual identifier for the company's business profile. This feature serves to differentiate genuine products from those that are counterfeited. The containers themselves are printed in dark grey for use in the industrial sector (fuel and energy) and dark blue for the marine sector (shipbuilding, ship repair).
Coating property pictograms
A notable feature of the design became an infographic created in line with the company's overarching visual identity, which effectively illustrates product chemical properties.
Lithography
Previously, paper labels were affixed to the product cans. New method of labelling the containers is lithography, which is more resistant to environmental influences. Each lithograph is printed with a specific colour that corresponds to a particular product name, allowing specialists to easily identify the required product in the warehouse.
The lithograph serves to illustrate two-component coating key aspects that are important to customers, including the technical aspects of its application, product storage and disposal instructions and as well as precautions to be taken when applying the materials. ACRUS® product Supply Certificate
We would like to draw your attention to the increasing number of cases of unfair competition. At present, the market is flooded with counterfeit products!
To combat the sale of counterfeit goods and to protect consumers from purchasing such items, AKRUS® has introduced a new form of Supply Certificate.
Supply Certificate is now presented on a paper with a background, watermarks and hologram. Special security features render it difficult to counterfeit ACRUS® products. Furthermore, these security features make it easier to establish the products' authenticity.
