LLC "Transneft Kozmino Port," a subsidiary of PJSC "Transneft," is located in Kozmino Port on Nakhodka Bay in Primorsky Krai. Inaugurated by Vladimir Putin on December 28, 2009, its primary mission is the uninterrupted, reliable, and safe shipment of oil to countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
The production facilities of Transneft Kozmino Port LLC include:
- A tank farm with a storage capacity of 600,000 m?.
- Onshore and berthing facilities equipped with two oil metering units and pipelines for accommodating tankers with a displacement of 80,000 to 150,000 tons.
- An oil reception site featuring an oil metering unit, an oil pipeline security system, and discharge tanks, marking the terminus of the Eastern Siberia–Pacific Ocean oil pipeline-II.
- A 23-kilometer oil pipeline from Tank Farm, complete with communication and power lines, connecting the oil reception site, the tank farm, and the shore and berthing facilities.
- A repair and maintenance workshop that includes a preserved railway platform with two double-sided discharge overpasses, a tank farm, and both retaining and head pumping stations.
- A workshop for technological transport and special equipment.
The plant operates an environmental audit system in compliance with ISO 14001:2015 standards. The company's environmental specialists conduct ongoing monitoring to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
The tank coating project utilized AKRUS®'s anticorrosive materials.
In 2019, AKRUS®'s anticorrosive materials were applied to both the inner (using single-layer AKRUS® Long) and outer (utilizing three-layer AKRUS® Poliur) surfaces of vertical steel tanks equipped with floating roofs, each with a capacity of 50,000 m?. These coating are listed in Transneft's registry of approved products and are authorized for use at the company's facilities.
