Supply of materials for the cruise liner «Peter the Great»

- Task: Supply of coatings of the AKRUS® trademark for the construction of a new four-deck cruise liner of the PV300VD project «Peter the Great»
The start of construction of a new passenger liner of the PV300VD project took place on August 15, 2016. On May 24, 2019, a cruise passenger liner of the PV300VD project was launched at the Lotos shipyard for further completion afloat. It is planned that the vessel will begin navigation in 2020.
The «Peter the Great» liner of the PV300VD project is a Volga—Don Max class vessel, according to the classification of the Marine Engineering Bureau, the first river-sea cruise liner in the Russian Federation that meets all international requirements and conventions, including the Convention for the Protection of Human Life at sea. The LOA of the liner is 141 meters, the beam is 16.8 meters, and the speed is 22.5 km/h. The vessel's fuel autonomy is 15 days, all other resources — 10 days.
The vessel's capacity is 310 passengers, who will be placed in 155 cabins of various classes. Among them are 10 luxury apartments of 26-36 square meters, with balconies, 2 luxury cabins for people with disabilities, 133 standard cabins of 19-21 square meters, also equipped with a balcony, 8 more standard cabins without a balcony, and 2 standard cabins for people with disabilities.
The vessel is created both for operation on inland waterways and for access to the marine areas of the Caspian and Black Sea basins. This is the first passenger vessel of this size in Russia.
