Coatings supply for Gazpromneft — Supply LLC. Novoportovskoye field

LLC Gazpromneft Snabzhenie and LLC Gazpromneft Yamal are subsidiaries of JSC Gazprom Neft. LLC Gazpromneft Snabzhenie provides transport and warehouse logistics services, while LLC Gazpromneft Yamal (formerly Gazprom Neft Novy Port) is responsible for the development of the Novoportovskoye oil and gas condensate field and building of the infrastructure for hydrocarbons export from the north of the Yamal Peninsula in Siberia.

One of the largest hydrocarbon fields under development on the Yamal Peninsula is the Novoportovskoye field. The field contains recoverable reserves in categories C1 and C2, which are estimated to be over 250 million tons of oil and condensate, as well as over 320 billion cubic metres of gas (including Paleozoic deposits).

Currently, oil from the Novoportovskoye field is transported to the coast of the Ob Bay via a 100 km export pipeline. Construction of the second stage commenced in January 2015 to allow transportation of at least 5.5 million tons of oil per annum.

A number of factors contribute to the challenging nature of the reserves development at the Novoportovskoye field, including the presence of low-permeable reservoirs, the occurrence of numerous tectonic disturbances leading to high fragmentation of deposits, and the presence of a powerful gas cap.

Gazprom Neft enhances the production efficiency of high-quality, low-sulfur Yamal oil by utilizing advanced technologies, such as drilling horizontal and multi-lateral wells and multi-stage hydraulic fracturing.
