Cooperation with JSC Rosneft. Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery JSC
- Client: Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery JSC (part of the structure of JSC Rosneft)
- Task: Supply of AKRUS® anticorrosive and flame-retardant materials for tank farms, pipelines, and metal structures of the Novokuibyshev plant.
Rosneft is the leader of the Russian oil industry and one of the largest public oil and gas companies in the world. One of the enterprises belonging to the JSC «Rosneft» group is JSC «Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery» in the Samara region.
Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery JSC is located in the Samara region and is part of the Samara Group of Oil Refineries acquired by Rosneft in May 2007.
The plant refines Orenburg oil, Western Siberia oil, as well as oil by the Company in the Samara region (Samaraneftegaz). The secondary refinery capacities include FCC, delayed coking, catalytic reforming, isomerization, kerosene and diesel fuel hydrotreating, and bitumen and gas fractionation systems.
Today, the refinery's capacity is 9.56 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces fuel for all types of transport, components of lubricating oils, bitumen, coke, and petrochemicals.
AKRUS® has partnered with Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery JSC since 2012 and supplies anticorrosive and flame retardant materials for tank farms, pipelines, and metal structures. Comprehensive coating systems of the AKRUS® brand were used as part of the modernization of the Rosneft oil refining complex, including the Novokuibyshevsky Refinery «Construction of the CCR catalytic Reformer».
During the updating, anticorrosive and flame retardant materials were used to protect metal structures coating systems of the AKRUS® trademark.
