Application of AKRUS^® materials. T.H. “Yamal Krechet”. Universal cargo vessel “Yamal Krechet” IMO No 9202041

In the summer of 2020, the 20,000 DWT Arctic cargo ship YAMAL KRECHET was docked at the Krasnaya Kuznitsa shipyard in Arkhangelsk.

The CEO of Sevnor Management LLC highly praised the coatings bearing the AKRUS^® trademark, which were utilized in the vessel's painting, as well as the technical and logistical services rendered by AKZ Coatings LLC.

YAMAL is classified as a General Cargo Ship, constructed in 1999 at the Flensburger Schiffbau Werft shipyard in Flensburg, Germany, with IMO No 9202041 and construction number 704. Originally commissioned for a German firm engaged in global cargo transport of bulk and heavy goods.

Sevnor Management LLC acquired YAMAL KRECHET due to increased cargo traffic for the construction of the Sabetta seaport, development of the Pavlovskoye field, and northern delivery operations. Presently, the vessel sails under the Russian flag.

The Arctic cargo ship holds licenses for transporting dangerous goods by sea (all hazard classes except IMO 7). It is compartmentalized into 5 cargo holds with a combined capacity of up to 25,000 cubic meters, capable of accommodating up to 20,000 tons of cargo or 754 containers.
