AKRUS® R (flame retardant material)
The flame-retardant thermally expanding (intumescent) formula is an organic solvent suspension of pigments and target fillers in an acrylic polymer solution. Upon exposure to elevated temperatures (approximately 250°C), the material expands and forms a protective layer of carbon phosphate foam, preventing the heating of structures.
